The movie “Ali” was released in 2001, directed by Michael Mann, it went on to receive two Oscar nominations, another 7 wins and 22 other nominations. The movie was not as successful as anticipated but it was appreciated by the audience as a good attempt but not Michael Mann’ best. “Ali: Forget What You Think You Know,” was a story centered on the life of the renowned boxer, Mohammed Ali. It was a biographical tale which covered the legendary boxer’s early days to his successful career in the ring.
The ‘Ali’ movie soundtrack consists of a total of 15 tracks altogether. The album is a good combination of music as there is something for everyone; it comprises different genres of music into one full album. There is variation from Soul to hip-hop to rock to international folk. Mostly, the Ali movie soundtrack is composed of low tempo beats compared to the enthusiastic and heart racing tracks in the Rocky movie series.
